Accessibility
Accessibility at Witzilin Medical Spa
We want every person who visits this website to be able to find our treatments, read our information, and book an appointment. If any part of this site gets in your way, we want to hear about it and we will help you directly.
The standard we work toward
We build this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at Level AA. That is the level most commonly referenced for public websites in the United States. We treat it as an ongoing target rather than a finished achievement, because the site changes as the practice grows.
What we have done so far
- Every image carries a written description for screen readers, and decorative graphics are hidden from them so they do not add noise.
- The menu, the language switch, and the photo galleries can all be operated with a keyboard, and the focused control is visibly outlined.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its animations and transitions.
- Text colors are measured against their backgrounds, and we correct any that fall below the contrast target.
- The site is built for a phone first, and it does not scroll sideways at small screen sizes.
- Every page is available in English and Spanish through the switch in the header.
Where we are still working
We would rather tell you what is not finished than claim the site is perfect. This is the one item we know about today:
- Online booking happens on Vagaro, which is a separate company. We do not control that site's accessibility, so if it is difficult for you, please call us and we will book your appointment for you.
If you need help, or something is not working
Call us at (650) 504-8726 during business hours and a person will help you. You can book an appointment, ask about a treatment, or get any information on this site read to you over the phone. We also take messages on Instagram at @Witzilin_Med_Spa. If you tell us what went wrong, we will fix it and we will let you know when it is done.
