Privacy Policy
This website does not collect your personal information. It has no forms, no accounts, no payments, and no advertising or analytics trackers. If you book, call, or message us, that happens through services outside this website, and this page explains exactly what that means.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no account to create, and no payment taken here. We do not run advertising pixels, analytics, or any other tracking on this site, so your visit is not profiled and nothing about you is sold or shared.
What happens automatically
Three things happen in the background on any visit, and we would rather name them than leave them unsaid:
- Our web host records ordinary technical information such as your internet address, your browser type, and which pages loaded. This is standard for every website and is used to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
- The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google and your internet address is visible to Google when it does. We do not receive that information and we do not control what Google does with it.
- If you switch the site to Spanish, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. The only thing stored is which language you picked. We never see it, and clearing your browser data erases it.
When you book, call, or message us
Every way of reaching us leaves this website and lands somewhere else:
- Booking is handled by Vagaro, a separate company. Whatever you enter there, including your name, contact details, and anything they ask you about your health, is collected by Vagaro under their privacy policy, not ours.
- Calling or texting the number on this site connects you through your own phone carrier, and we see your number the way anyone you call would.
- Messaging us on Instagram happens on Meta's platform under Meta's policy.
Health information
Your medical information does not live on this website. There is no patient portal here and this site asks you no health questions.
The information you share during a consultation or a treatment is protected by federal law under HIPAA and by California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act. Those protections are handled by the practice directly, and they are described in a separate document called a Notice of Privacy Practices, which is not this page.
Client photographs
The before and after photographs on this site are real clients, published only with their written consent. If you are one of them and you want your photograph taken down, call us and we will remove it. You do not have to give a reason.
Your California privacy rights
California law gives residents rights over their personal information, including these:
- The right to know what personal information a business has collected about you.
- The right to have it deleted, and the right to have it corrected.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it with anyone.
- The right to be treated the same whether or not you exercise any of these rights.
The laws that create these rights apply to businesses above a certain size, and Witzilin Medical Spa is well below those thresholds. We are telling you about them anyway and we will answer a request as though they applied. Because this website collects nothing that identifies you, there is usually nothing for us to hand over or delete, but you are welcome to ask.
Children
This website is not directed to children and our treatments are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and change the date below. We will not apply a change retroactively to information we already hold.
